Leaderboards Released in Empires & Allies – Guide Here!

A highly anticipated feature has been launched in Empires & Allies today, the Leaderboards! This new feature adds a brand new competitive value to the game, as well as all sorts of interesting details about you and your neighbors, so read on this article to find out everything about the Empires & Allies leaderboards!
First of all, it’s worth noting that the leaderboards start counting the stats starting today, the day of release and will not have a retroactive effect, which means that players that are already playing the game for some time won’t start with a huge advantage over you.
Next, you should know that there are three different leaderboards in Empires & Allies, actually that track the following:
Campaign Progress: Complete the most campaign battles.
Ore Investment: Spend the most Ore within the time period.
Damage Dash: Deal the most combat damage within the time period.
Apparently, we will not always have these three leaderboards: once they expire, new ones will take their place instead of the timer being reseted for all of them. Also, whoever wins the limited-time ones also receives some really cool trophies and prizes and you can see them in your own leaderboards menu. And when I saw Tactical Nukes there, I certainly started to feel the need to be competitive!
Just to make things clear: you don’t need to finish in the top three in order to get the prizes shown in the leaderboards. It’s enough to reach the indicated milestone(s)!
One really funny thing at the moment is the quality of the rewards offered for reaching the milestones, though: the damage leaderboard, for example, offers some really poor rewards – level 1 troops which are extremely useless for players level 30 or above:
However, we should be really happy to see this new feature introduced in Empires & Allies – I am actually very happy with it and I am sure Zynga will make it better and better.
What do you think about the E&A leaderboards feature? Like it or not?
